Child Safety Standards

Effective 20 October 2026

eResonate has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards apply to everything on eResonate, on the website and in the app: profiles, posts, comments, direct messages, groups and group chat, band and venue pages, shows, calls and Backstage. They are part of our Terms of Service and our Community Guidelines.

1. eResonate Is for Adults

You must be 18 or over to use eResonate. We check age when an account is created: in the app through Apple's age range, and where the law requires it, only with an age Apple has confirmed. We do not open accounts for people who tell us they are under 18, we suspend existing accounts whose owners tell us they are under 18 until an adult age is confirmed, and we delete accounts that belong to children under 13.

3. How We Prevent It

4. How to Report

Do not download, screenshot, copy or forward the material, even to report it. Tell us where it is (a link, the account name, or the conversation) and what you saw.

If you think someone using eResonate is under 18, report their profile with the reason "This person may be under 18". A person on our team reviews it; a report alone never suspends an account. If the review shows the person is under 18, we suspend the account until an adult age is confirmed, and delete it if they are under 13.

5. What We Do

6. If a Child Is in Danger

Contact your local emergency services first: 911 in the United States and Canada, 999 in the United Kingdom. You can also report directly to:

If a sexual image of someone under 18 is being shared online, NCMEC's Take It Down service can help get it removed from other sites: takeitdown.ncmec.org.

7. Child Safety Contact

Our designated child safety point of contact is Trust and Safety, eResonate, at report@eresonate.com. Law enforcement and preservation requests: gk@eresonate.com.
