Appeals and Complaints
If you think we got a decision wrong, you can ask us to look again. Anyone, with or without an account, can also send us a complaint about how eResonate handles safety.
1. What You Can Appeal
- Removal of something you posted, or of your profile photo, page or group details.
- A warning, a limit, a suspension or the closure of your account.
- An automated check that stopped something you wrote. A person reviews it.
- A suspension because of your age. The quickest route is to confirm your age with Apple in the app, which lifts the suspension when Apple has confirmed you are 18 or over. You can also appeal, and our team will review it.
If we could not act on an intimate-image removal request you sent, you can ask us to look again with a complaint below.
2. How to Appeal
- In the app: from the notice we sent you, from Your reports, or from the screen that explains your account's status.
- On the website: use the form in section 5 and include the reference from the notice we sent you. If we sent you a link that names the decision, sign in on this browser first and open it: the form then files your appeal of that decision.
Each decision can be appealed once, within 30 days of the decision. Tell us why you think it was wrong, in your own words.
3. What Happens Next
- A person on our team reviews your appeal. We aim to decide within 24 hours.
- If we got it wrong, we reverse the decision: removed content comes back and a penalty is lifted.
- We tell you the outcome in the app and by email, and it shows under Your reports.
4. Complaints
You can complain, with or without an account, about how we handled illegal or harmful content, a report you made, our age checks, a decision we made, or how we follow our own Terms and Community Guidelines. Give us an email address if you are not signed in, so we can reply. A person on our team reviews every complaint.
