Milwaukees jewel box, The Pabst Theater, was built in 1895 by brewing magnate Captain Frederick Pabst, and was designed by architect Otto Strack in the tradition of the great European opera houses. It is a City of Milwaukee Landmark, a State of Wisconsin Historical Site, and a National Historic Landmark." They can host live music any night of the week. Also in this complex are Turner Hall Ballroom (987 capacity) and The Riverside Theater (2,430 capacity).
