Musicians Danny Balis and Jess Barr opened Twilite Lounge in the heart of historic Deep Ellum on June 3, 2013, with a performance by renowned Denton songwriter, Will Johnson (Centro-Matic), thus setting the tone for what Danny describes as a beer and a shot type of joint, but a dive bar you could take a date to.
