Our mission is to celebrate and preserve our regions' musical heritage in the only way it can be done: playing the tunes and passing them on from musician to musician. East Tennessee has rich roots in Irish and Scottish music, and they merged here with other influences and evolved into bluegrass and old time Appalachian genres. At Boyds Jig and Reel we celebrate our musical past, our present, and future." They host full bands on Friday and Saturday nights and Celtic/Irish music any night of the week.
