The Highlander was established in 1979 by David and Celia Drakeley. In its 35+ years of operation, it has developed a reputation of being "North Augusta's living room". It has withstood the test of time, and remains to this day the CSRA's longest running British pub." Live music is held on Tuesday and Friday nights with Tuesdays being reserved for Acoustic acts.
