Introduced in 2014, the JSO’s Affinity Series was started with the goal of bringing world-class musicians to Jackson. Folk, Rock, Texas Blues, Americana, the genre isn’t what’s important; the common thread that runs throughout all Affinity Series concerts is the excellence of the performance and the passion that we have for this music and for sharing it with our community. Affinity Concerts take place one to two times a month, are scheduled based on the artist’s availability and are bringing a new audience to the JSO’s Performing Arts Center and to downtown Jackson…come see and hear for yourself what all the excitement is about!" Shows are typically held on Friday and Saturday nights.
