The Monterey Museum of Art expands a passion for the visual arts and inspires appreciation of California artpast, present, and future. They host live music (electronica, hip-hop, folk, pop, etc.) on the first Friday of each month from 5-7 PM. Other events range from Family Fun Days to exhibition openings and special events. These can include the above genres as well as classical, jazz, etc. The galleries feature a range of contemporary and traditional California art.
