The Ivy Room is an East Bay music institution that has been home to dozens of local musicians and touring bands. This tradition of presenting great live music and performance artists continues today. We book rockabilly, blues, pop, hip hop, rock, swing, bluegrass, funk, jazz and comedy. Bands that have played The Ivy Room include Chuck Prophet, Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys, Jim Campilongo, the Loved Ones, Deke Dickerson, Dave Gleason, Lavay Smith and Carlos Guitarlos. Theyve all found themselves playing Ivy Rooms small, funky stage." They host live music Tuesday-Sunday nights with Mondays being reserved for karaoke and Tuesdays for an open jam.
