Opened in 1933 on the heels of prohibition, the Checkerboard has the longest continuous liquor license in the state of Washington. Formally Checkerboard Tavern, we decided to break tradition and serve Spirits after nearly 80 years. Come take part in a century of laughs, love and great times!"
